our beautiful Fall weather made a stunning backdrop for my engagement shoot with Shauna & Thomas on the weekend! they are such a classy couple and we had a great time getting to know each other and enjoying the sunshine. I love when my couples choose to do an engagement shoot as it really gives us a chance to break the ice. I love the opportunity to document their relationship in a casual environment with no time constraints and lots of time for creativity! they were a bit nervous to start, but they took my suggestion of lots of snuggling and warmed right up…

we did a fun shot in the middle of a sidewalk downtown and Angela said it was the first time she had ever been dipped! she loved it so much, she used one of the images on the cover of her coffee table book…
then it was off to one of my favourite outdoor locations for photos, Iona Beach in Richmond…

then it was off to Capilano Golf and Country Club for the couple’s wedding ceremony and reception….
the day was flawlessly coordinated by Soha of Countdown Events, with beautiful florals by Suzanne at Granville Island Florists…
and the decor by Colin at Upright Decor was spectacular as usual.
the deliciously decadent ice cream buffet came out after dinner and was to die for!
